How do I cancel my subscription?

All billing is handled by Apple. You can cancel anytime:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
  2. Tap your Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  3. Select Calio AI and tap Cancel.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple’s terms apply for renewals and refunds.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
  1. Install Calio AI from the App Store.
  2. Open the app > go to the paywall or settings.
  3. Tap Restore Purchase and confirm with your Apple ID.
Does Calio AI store my health data?

No. All meal, calorie, and fasting data is processed and stored locally on your device. We don’t store your data on our servers.

What analytics do you use?

We use limited product analytics (installs, opens, conversions). We don’t keep analytics data on our own servers.

How accurate are calorie estimates?

Calorie and macro estimates depend on lighting, angle, portion size, and dish complexity. For best results:

  • Good lighting and a clear top/angled shot of the full plate.
  • Include a common object (fork/phone) for scale when possible.
  • Use manual edit to adjust portions if needed.
Why does the app need Camera and Notifications?

Camera lets you scan meals for nutrition estimates. Notifications can remind you about fasting windows or logging. You can disable either anytime in iOS Settings.

Refunds

Purchases and refunds are managed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Troubleshooting tips
  • Force-close and reopen the app.
  • Check App Store for updates.
  • Verify internet connection and iCloud sign-in.
  • Re-run Restore Purchase if subscription isn’t recognized.
  • Reinstall the app (your on-device data may reset).

No. Calio AI is for general wellness only and is not a medical device. Always consult a qualified professional before changing your diet or fasting routine.
